Vintage Classics has acquired a new translation of Homers The Iliad by classics scholar and author Caroline Alexander.
Laura Hassan, editorial director at RH imprint Vintage Classics, bought exclusive UK and British Commonwealth rights (including Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and India), as well as non-exclusive rights throughout the rest of the world except the US and Canada. The deal was struck through Daniel Halpern, publisher of Ecco, an imprint of HarperCollins.
